Eldridge Industries?
Has anyone heard of this firm and know of its reputation on the street? Seems like they invest across the capital structure and focus primarily on consumer/media holdings (Dodgers, Lakers, A24, etc..).
With ~$40B AUM according to Pitchbook, would joining this group be similar to joining a MF or at least UMM PE fund career wise? Anyone know anything about culture or compensation?
Interested in knowing more about this name too
Interested too
bump!
Interested as well, particularly associate, VP level
It’s Todd Boehly’s family office. Sort of a holding company approach. Working at most brand name MM PE funds is more impressive
Founded by Todd Boehly, former top exec at Guggenheim. Spun out of Guggenheim with Security Benefit Life, a large annuity underwriter that finances a lot of Eldridge's deals (similar to Apollo / Athene model, google it if unfamiliar). They're very smart investors, particularly around insurance and growth. Not sure about it as a place to work / build a career but definitely a "legit" firm. Less street cache than a Blackstone/KKR/Carlyle/Apollo etc. though.
How would you comp them in terms of reputation? Obviously not a MF, but what are they?
More similar to Berkshire Hathaway. They are well known in finance circles.
