Eldridge Industries Vs. IB

I recently received an offer from Eldridge for their summer internship. From what I understand, they are an investment holding company that uses PE/VC/Credit strategies. Is anyone able to comment on the quality of the firm and whether I would be at a disadvantage in exits if I were start my career there instead of investment banking? They seem to have a very interesting portfolio and flexible platform, so I think it'd be a good mix of exposure to different strategies, but it's obviously less of a brand name than a BB or EB

When I was a college student I would have said IB but knowing what I know now and the moves Eldridge is making I would 100% take Eldridge
