Emerging Manager in Emerging Markets

We are small LMM investors focused on SaaS.   We are seeing growing competition that is raising prices, so we are exploring new ideas to gain an edge.

One area of investing that has interested me since my days in PE is LMM PE in Emerging markets.

I understand this is fraught with legal problems (corruption, judicial systems etc).  I'm wondering if anyone is working in this space besides the big funds.

Thinking LatAM, SE Asia, and Africa.  We focus on content generation to attract LP's so for us

We are heavily invested in DeFi protocols as well, which I see being an interesting play long term in this space as gas prices go down for Ethereum.

Anyone we could talk to in this space to understand these markets?
