Experience interviewing at SWFs
Hi guys,
Those who interviewed at SWFs (think Middle East: AIDA, QIA etc) , how did you find the process?
I had a first round with someone from the team + HR two weeks ago. Recruiter has been chasing them but it seems they reply to all her emails except for the ones about me. Thats the feeling I have because she says she sent them a couple of people for VP role since but not for my level role.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? I’m not sure whether it’s a soft “No” from them or they want to keep me as a back-up of some sort and if they say “No” straight away they can’t go back to me in the future.
It could just be that they are prioritising more senior hiring ahead of the role you are looking at. Best thing you can do is to keep plugging away at other opportunities.
Do these Middle Eastern SWFs have US offices?
