Anyone have strong thoughts on Fifth Wall? Based in LA, ex-BX guys, and a pretty solid list of investments. Also just launched an upsized $300mm SPAC. Seems like a solid place.
It’s proptech investing and more similar to venture capital than private equity. Cool gig in Santa Monica for sure.
They do some really cool deals and are one of the few (certainly the largest) focused solely on innovation in real estate. Very impressive team. They have a podcast (Fifth Wall Podcast) where they bring on founders and talk about trends in the industry - it’s pretty interesting, even as someone who’s not in the VC or PropTech space
Familiar with these guys - if you want to do venture, where real estate tech / adjacencies are your sector coverage, it's the best shop.
