What are the top FIG PE shops?

no it doesn't
Stone point, flexpoint ford, lightyear, GTCR, corsair, lovell minnick, centerbridge, LLR, Parthenon and new mountain are some that come to mind
Hard to believe Flexpoint pays the same as Centerbridge, which pay in line or higher than MFs lol
Would these shops hire someone focused on a specific vertical like only asset management or only insurance? Or do you have to be general and do all FIG
No idea on comp on the FIG teams within the MFs. Some of them are investing out of different pockets with lower return targets that traditional buyout (ie appllo).
I’d imagine comp at the FIG-focused shops would be roughly inline with what any other funds of similar size are paying
