Final Round Case Study
Hello all,
I have a final round interview with a PE firm coming up, and I've been told all that it consists of is a 2 hour case study. I will be given 1 hour to review the materials provided (not sure if it'll be a CIM, 10k, etc.), followed by a 1 hour discussion. I've also been told that the discussion will be primarily qualitative in nature, and the only technical aspect may be to calculate debt paydown and IRR.
Can anyone give me some pointers on a) what to expect, and b) how i can hit this out of the park? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Did a case study last year with the same timing. I was asked to build a simple model (template was already given...just had to build in the functionality) in the first 45 mins. From there, I sat down with a VP to discuss my rationale for growth rates, margins, etc based on the handout / CIM I was provided. We also discussed why it might be a good / bad investment. With only 2 hrs, I'd expect a pretty high level type of exercise followed by a general discussion.
