What exactly does this position entail? is this doing private equity investments or is this more along the lines of accounting/back office gig? Thanks for any insight.

In my experience anything with the work Finance in it tends to be more corporate finance part of the company. I think it is more interesting than say BO, but it still isn't going to be the ideal spot at Bain.
I agree. I go through hundreds of these posts a month trying to find roles for students at Leverage Academy. Most finance roles are for P&L analysis, budgeting, controllership and the like. This is certainly not a front office or deal sourcing type of role. Hope that helps.
Not FO, but it's going to be a good job. Bain has good resume appeal. You'll have a chance to network with some smart people. Well above PWM.
