Goldman Sachs Hybrid Capital
Hi - am currently looking if there's any info regarding GS hybrid capital investing (especially for London office)? Understanding that they recently merged SSG and Merchant Banking into Hybrid capital, am currently wondering 1) deal sizes (generally mid cap investing?); 2) sector focus; 3) market leading positions; 4) overall recruitment.. Is it like traditional hybrid value investing (minority equity - distressed)? Appreciate any info! I

Is there a difference in technicals between private equity and credit investing?
They will test you on generic accounting and finance, as well as ask about deal experience and challenge you on the numbers/rationale/thesis/risks
Thanks very much. I have solid experience of generic accounting & finance from being on sellside. In your opinion, what are (if any) the additional technicals beyond just generic A&F to prep for given the hybrid capital focus of the team (e.g. cap structure, private debt focused questions)?
