In terms of Growth Equity shops in Europe, there are quite a few players that might pique your interest. Some of the top-tier and smaller shops that have been mentioned in previous WSO threads include General Atlantic and TA Associates. There are also a bunch of new funds launched by MFs like Apax, Permira, Bain, and Blackstone that are worth keeping an eye on.
In addition, there are late-stage VC funds like IVP, Meritech, and Lightspeed, as well as up-and-coming smaller funds like Silversmith, Level, and Lead Edge.
As for breaking into the UK market, having experience in the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Germany will definitely be a plus. The key is to leverage your unique experiences and skills to stand out from the crowd.
