Wow. Do you think 2023 will start right after (ie in November/December)? I think these PE firms only care about in person interviews.

 

So is this for people to start in the summer of 2022 (analysts that started last year) or is it for the summer of 2023 (analysts that started this year)?

If this is for the former, Isn't this later than when it has historically started?

 

Just curious, why do you feel unprepared / not ready? Is it because you don't want to do PE or you feel like you don't have enough experience to make a decision on career path forward. 

If this is for the class of 2020, it seems like you've had enough experience to make a decision (1+ year).

 

in a coverage group that doesn't do in-house modeling so prepping for on-cycle interviews will be a shit show

high chance of not converting an offer coming from a non-target without good modeling experience - not worth all the stress

not 100% set on PE and currently in a relatively comfy seat at a solid firm - think i have good runway

mainly i'm just too lazy to put in the work if i'm not confident i can convert a good offer
