Headhunters / PE guys, any rumblings on on-cycle this year?

Obviously on-cycle has been continuing to get earlier and earlier, and no one truly knows any specific dates or timelines on when on-cycle will start / Thoma Bravo kicks it off, but I was just wondering if anyone has heard any rumblings or rumors, even if just high level (e.g. general sentiment on on-cycle delays, etc.). A few HH connects have mentioned that there's a reasonable chance things might get pushed back due to how incompatible a lot of on-cycle is with social distancing, but I just wanted to make this post as the process is driven by funds jumping the gun.

they reach out to you, no need to hit them up right now. If you want to recruit off-cycle or find opportunities down the line, it's smart to maintain a minimum level of contact

it's true that not every HH targets every single bank, but at banks that they target, they tend to be pretty comprehensive in their reach (though I've seen kids fall thru the cracks, usually due to weird emails though). At most places I know, they just ask the second years for the incoming first years' emails, so they do have a complete list.

I havent seen that of seniors giving juniors emails but HH going directly (maybe someone gave them directly without mentioning tho) but its true that some HH do also filter even individuals from a class due to languages / previous experiences reaching with opportunities that other analysts will not get through HH reaching them directly (they will have to be proactive). This is based in my London experience, not sure about other locations
