As an intern for a 20-30 ppl PE firm with no analysts, will I be directly reporting to the single associate they have? It's a pretty small firm with only one associate so I'm wondering if I'll be working with him throughout my internship.

I would expect to be working relatively closer with the VPs, and possibly the MDs, but probably not the Managing Partners too much. VPs and associate will likely be giving you the bulk of your tasks.
