How do you get approached for Operating Exec roles?
My dad is a long term public company operations executive in a industry that PE likes quite a bit, with public company C suite experience. Thinking in the next few years as he heads towards retirement getting involved in some operating exec / board level work in the PE space could potentially be interesting. Was curious to hear how this happens, imagine it is often inbound through Korn Ferry and the like or through your own network
