How to get better at paper LBOs under pressure?
Currently recruiting for PE and just cannot figure this out. I'm on my 3rd firm and just seem to crack under the pressure when the paper questions get asked.I have good modeling experience on the LBO side coming from a sponsor heavy banking stint & generally do well on "take-home" cases. I know it's probably all mental but it just feels weird when I'm trying to write down S&U on paper vs. typing into excel.Projecting out cash is less of an issue I guess but I've had 2 interviews and couldn't nail down IRR/MoM on both. Any advice?
Reps. Literally practice with paper
lmao
I've been doing this but it's a bit different in the interview when they're changing assumptions on the spot etc.. It's true though - probably shouldn't overthink it and just do a bunch of reps to build confidence
