How to Improve yourself going into PE

Signed an offer for oncycle. Now obviously I have my banking job but tbh there's a lot of downtime. Was wondering what people have done in the past with the free-time (obv. go out, enjoy yourself) but looking for things that people have done to improve investing skills, mathematical logic (struggle with this), other useful things.

The smartest and most well-rounded people I know consistently take the role of "dumbest person in the room" and ask for advice from others. That's the smart move, not brute forcing it and going in less prepared. If a 5 minute ask reveals a gem on a forum that causes a mind shift, all the better.

Remember, always be kind-hearted.

The smartest and most well-rounded people I know consistently take the role of "dumbest person in the room" and ask for advice from others that they couldn't otherwise figure out for themselves... the best advice given here was take personal time... surely a no brainer? ask how you can improve WHEN ON THE JOB. take a moment for yourself in between.

the most important thing in business and in life is to be a complete person that other people are interested in talking to and working with
