How to stay focused / interested? Does this job get interesting?
Hello,
Sorry for English. I see many posts recently about hard times in 1st Year Associate Programs. Personally, I am very bored. I cannot focus doing things like modeling - it is just data entry, is it not? EBITDA bridges, cap tables, divestitures - all just data entry and accounting rules?
Going through endless documents. My company uses an LBO template (it is a big fund). EBITDA adjustments, figuring out cash flows - not very cerebral? Wondering if I am alone in my thinking with this subject.
Does it get better? More interesting? Or is this the job?
