IFM Investors London

Anyone has any insights? A few threads exist on this forum on IFM but they are quite outdated and no opinion on London team specifically - would be great to get any insight into pay / hours / culture / performance / strength generally.

On Inframation they have a very huge AUM and look active / saw them in few deal processes recently. Some very nice deals closed in past 2-3 years.

Would be grateful for any insights reg. the firm in general and specifically London infra private equity team to the extent possible.

Thanks a lot!

Have worked with IFM on some deals and would avoid

- Top firm within the infra space with a great number of large closed deals

- Toxic culture in London, consistently working long hours due to unreasonable deadlines (even at the Director level)

Open-ended and very big, so you'll likely be experiencing slow deal flow / headcount (maybe staffed on one deal / year) and heavy portfolio management. I've heard hours have improved a lot. They also changed the leadership of the LDN office recently and culture has improved (still tends to be quiet / reserved). Comp probably in line with market but not sure about London.
