Insight Partners - London Office

Curious to hear any insights (pun intended) on the London office.

Heard their recent fund is underwater but stellar performance historically. Flexibility from Series A all the way to growth buyout deals.

Bloomberg today reported strict tracking of sales calls / mails / leads even for interns, very sourcing heavy up to (senior) associate.

Comp in US supposedly matching MFs, how is London and what‘s the carry structure? Nevertheless there seems to be some departure / turnover.

Thanks!

They have trouble fundraising because the performance of any fund they raised after 2017 is absolutely trash, i.e. lower-mid or bottom quartile vs. benchmark due to them investing in meme companies at peak valuations. Lots of departures.
