Insights into MSIM Tactical Value
Saw a posting for an associate role in this group - sounds kind of interesting actually.
Does anyone have any insight into this group? Pay? Exits? Longevity? Compensation relative to other buyside seats at strict buyside firms?
Think of them as similar to other in-between strategies (e.g., Apollo Hybrid Value). I believe they can do all the way up to 1L TL to preferred equity. They have recently raised their 2nd fund if memory serves correctly.
Interesting - are they set up with a 2/20 structure in place like traditional buyside firms?
I imagine there are sharp people working there based just off the fact it's MS. Thanks for insight.
