Think of them as similar to other in-between strategies (e.g., Apollo Hybrid Value). I believe they can do all the way up to 1L TL to preferred equity. They have recently raised their 2nd fund if memory serves correctly.
Interesting - are they set up with a 2/20 structure in place like traditional buyside firms?
