Insights on KKR's HC team
Does anybody have some personal insights? How does it compare to other MFPE HC teams, hours (I know it used to be sweaty, but I don't have any new info on this), culture, investments and PortCo work after close (I know Envision was a bad deal for them but interested to know how other investments have done), and do you get to work on both buyout and growth deals?
I've worked with them a lot and Momtazee's built a great group. Contrary to what most people think, I don't think they've slowed down much since his departure.
Interesting, do you have any insights on what they were looking for in deals? Was it just financial engineering with the typical buyout candidate (high margin, low competition, high FCF generation etc.) or were they also looking for operational improvements and add-ons?
I’m new to finance but what’s HC?
