I have an interview for a Associate role in the Distressed Investment Team of a Large Cap PE Fund in 2 weeks. According to the Headhunter they are looking for someone with a mix of operating restructuring and IB experience to support the investment process and management of portfolio companies.
This matches my experience and is pretty much what I'm looking for. I went through the PE prep pack, have refreshed my LBO modelling skills and doing some reading around distressed investing.
Does anyone have interview experience for these Ops focussed roles? What kind of technical questions can I expect?
