Is a PE analyst role at Florida SBA worth it?
I am currently trying to land an internship for summer 2026, obviously not BB, and from a non target. What are the exit opportunities for a PE analyst at the Florida State Board of Administration? They fund $2b to PE funds every year and their analysts (after talking with a couple) have similar roles to a PE analyst at an actual firm. I don’t know how pay or exit opportunities line up, considering it’s technically government work. I’m pretty stuck on whether to try and network there heavily, so anything is appreciated.
