Is KKR opening a Boston Office?
KKR is hiring multiple back office roles in Boston. They're hiring an Office Manager, FP&A - Workforce Planning, Benefit and Wellness Manager, Compliance Roles, Talent Acquisition, AI Engineer, Leaves Administrator, and a Senior Portfolio Accountant. They don't officially have a Boston Office on their website. Could this mean they are planning on opening a KKR Office there or are they hiring for a subsidiary/affiliated firm?
Seems strange, especially because most firms are moving roles to the south.
They acquired Global Atlantic, which has offices there, so would imagine they’ll hire into those offices as well.
They technically have offices all over the world (and count some of their older "remote" partners as essentially manning their own offices), but how much "buyside" work occurs in each is highly variable. As in, "buyouts are basically only in Menlo and New York"-level variable.
