be realistic. unless your last name is Kravis, junior year internships from EB/BB matter a lot. if you can’t get a banking gig good luck with getting a kkr one

Damn you sound like the kid who puts "Incoming Investment Banking Analyst" on your linkedin. It’s called leveraging. Also are kids just not allowed to apply to shit? Just because someone can’t get with Dua Lipa doesn’t mean they’re not allowed to dm her.

The program's focus is to attract talent different from the typical pipeline to stay competitive. Usually 1-2 students are given FT offers per school they are targeting. My view is that white guys working at EBs and BBs doing IB is not the candidates they are looking for as they can get an endless supply of these candidates through traditional PE recruiting during Fall 21'. I think it is really anyones game

That's correct but Vista's test (CCAT) has 15 minutes for 50 questions and not 12 minutes like KKR's PI. The standard for KKR is definitely not >40

I think it’s hilarious how people are saying they “did well on the aptitude test” when theres no way to see your score....I guess in 2020 we’ve decided finishing something means doing “really well” on it

In the webinar yesterday and today, they mentioned that the attendees of webinars were just a subset of candidates they're considering, and not attending the webinar does not preclude applicants from being considered. First rounds will be going out early June by individual teams!

Does anyone else think it's strange that all the non PE TMT/Healthcare groups only have 1 person moving through based on the poll? ( I assume the 2 for Real Estate is 1 for Equity and 1 for Credit but this is just speculation). Seems strange that they would only consider 1 person for the final round and not at least 2, even if they were only going to take 1 in the end...
