KKR comp for Principal
How much is total comp for a Principal Year 1 at KKR and how is it split between base, cash bonus, equity and carry. What kind of progression can one expect from there?

I didn't pull up my comp reports (you can find them online from many of the providers) but I'm sure KKR is in line with the other mega funds. My guess is $700-900k cash and $5m+ of carry.
The Principal title at KKR is the equivalent of VP at most funds so that can’t be right.
Ugh, thanks for calling that out. In that case, I'd guess $500k / $2.5m carry or something in that range. Point being, the last dollar of comp at that point shouldn't be the main concern.
How does carry work, how much can one realistically get each year in realization?

It's $1.5mm cash including bonus and $2-4 DAW for principal
Extremely inaccurate. Cash comp is like 30-40% of what you put here
No shot they are paying their Principles less than senior associates at UMM firms
