KKR Scholars

Hi everyone,

I’m a first-year student interested in recruiting for IB/PE. I just got a hirevue invite for the KKR scholars program. I was trying to find more information about it on here but couldn’t find much.

I was wondering what are everyone’s thoughts on the program? How selective/prestigious actually is it? What could I expect from the hirevue? What can I expect actually going through the program? Any other similar programs that I also should be applying to?

Really appreciate any and all insights.

From what I heard from a friend last year who did the hirevue was that the questions were technical so you have to focus on that only and its mostly basic stuff, but you should expect a curveball in terms of difficulty. I'm a bit nervous as he was saying value creation/valuation/business comparison.

really? where....I think it depends where you are. He was at a semitarget (UNC/UCLA/UT) so maybe that's why.

So here's the deal: not a single HireVue has been the same. I have heard from friends from semi-target to target that they had simple behavioral questions. However, friends from lower-semi to non-target have received behaviorals on top of technical questions, such as asking about market trends or valuation. Hope that helps!

I just got 2 behavioral questions: tell me abt urself and a difficult situation you had in a team. I prepped beforehand for this but heard technicals vary/school. From Georgetown btw
