Laid off mid-interview, what to do?

Unfortunately laid off while mid-interview process with a few PE funds for start this summer… any advice on how to handle? Feel like it’s best not to bring it up until offer in hand but want to get folks insights on it. Just really don’t want the stigma and insinuated “low performer” label that goes along with being laid off, especially when I’m competing against other folks who weren’t laid off.

it was a mass layoff at our firm so not specific to me, no mention of performance and pretty sure I can get a couple good references despite not working on many deals during this slow market.

Thanks!
