Learning experience at MF vs MM

I’ve heard MF PE essentially being called banking 2.0. While you surely will work on larger and more significant deals in the MF space, would a MM PE experience provide a more holistic experience overall? While I understand it is completely firm and team dependent, all else being equal, which experience would be more beneficial for someone considering starting their own firm down the line?
