Lifestyle at Greenoaks / Altimeter / Dragoneer / etc. Privates Teams

What's the lifestyle like at these shops? Is it venture lifestyle or private equity lifestyle?

On one hand I doubt it's the banker-manufactured hustle of private equity, but on the other hand they are relatively late stage.

They work hard. I know all 3 of these funds and can say, without getting into specifics, that whilst they all have different types of leadership personalities, all the founders promote a hard working culture.

I'd also say that these funds conduct seriously deep research for underwriting compared to most, so that implies hard work too.

One big difference for greenoaks is that its a private focussed so the private team is larger. Conversely Altimeter particularly runs lean and has a public focus as well as quite a lot of active products and funds, so I imagine more hours/stretched time.

I just came here to say Altimeter and Dragoneer make me moist.

Does anyone have a sense of the hours at these different firms? Are they banking hours (regularly 85+ / week) or more sustainable at ~70?
