Live Investment Opportunity via SPV - US Energy Data SaaS Platform - 2.5x ARR entry - right before growth inflection

Hi all,

By context, I've worked at a London-based Emerging Manager (Growth/PE) for the past two years targeting the Venture Buyout/Recap space (ex-MBB).

In an interesting turn of events, I'm in a position to spin out and raise capital for the deals I've sourced proprietarily.

As everyone knows, the fundraising market is hellish, especially for new managers with limited track record.

There is a truly unique asset (former Unicorn CEO at the helm) that has shown very strong commercial traction since finalising a restructuring programme and now in a position to be capitalised to turbo-charge growth on their under-penetrated existing client base (avg ~1%) via a very clear ROI-led sales/data strategy.

I am clubbing together capital via an SPV, and thought I'd reach out on this platform to gauge interest (strategics already signalled in a previous (rejected) M&A process the value of the technology/company is 6-8x ARR, so there's your arbitrage datapoint vs. 2.5x ARR @ entry).

High level financials below - please ping me directly if interested in this unique, off-market opportunity and I will send NDA before more detail:

  • $6m Live ARR (typical SaaS business model)
  • 10% 3Y CAGR (despite restructuring / shift to profitability focus)
  • ~80% GM
  • Breakeven by end of Q1-26
  • $1.5m cash on b/s (+ ~$2m committed from new investors outside my SPV)
  • Limited capex requirements
  • Tier 1 clients (top clients retained >5 years showing product strength)
  • Ticket req: $3m (min) up to $10m (max)
