Hi I recently started a job in LMM IB been working here for 3months. Shop has under 5 people working full time. I have an opportunity to potentially go work for a real estate private equity firm 2.5 hours from where im currently situated. Not sure what the pay would be at RE PE but the LMM is paying 80K base + performance bonus + profit share.

I'd do it, doubt what the exit ops at such a small LMM IB shop are...probably very few if any to PE. You may have a chance to lateral to a larger IB shop if you enjoy the work, but personally I'd do the RE PE.
