London firms who hire analysts?
Does anyone know which firms in London hire analysts straight from university? I know BX...anyone else?

No firms in London hire analyst from uni. You have to get an MBA, do two summers in the janitorial department then you're in as an analyst.
BX and GS PIA I am sure of. Debt funds as well. But there are no "recurrent annual hiring session". It depends on the fund staffing and forecasted needs.
Any ideas how many first year analyst ft-positions BX have in London?

they will definitely consider fresh out of university profiles if you have significant experience from at least two industry-related internships. otherwise straight out of university is difficult and as MiniMonkey already mentioned it depends on the staffing needs rather than recurring annual hires. So, these spots are usually filled via headhunters, so networking especially with analysts is an angle worth exploring.
