MBA question - Fund of funds

Guys, I know there is no straightforward answer to this one, but generally speaking... is working for private equity funds of funds appealing to MBA recruiters (top5 MBA programs). I mean... will pe fof make the trick and "impress" MBA admission team?

YES YES...its a lot better than working for the big 4 for example because they have a hard time setting themselves apart. You on the other hand if working in pe fof, will have more opportunities!!

Panku - many thanks. That's great to hear! I was afraid that working for fof would be not enough to impress MBA admission folks.

P.S. Don't wanna sound stupid but how pe fof sets somebody apart? Is it just because there are only few MBA candidates coming from fof or the industry itself is so unique (from MBA admission perspective)?
