MBB Deal Walkthrough in PE interviews

Curious how deep you get pressed on for deal walkthroughs in PE interviews if you are in MBB, most of the work we do even on DDs and value creation projects are market models / cost saving models, etc. as well as we don’t have access to values like IRR, MoM, exit multiples, etc. so am unsure how deeply interviewers press on deals. Also, personal question but if I included 3 projects on my resume - 1. Classic DD deal that went public 2. DD where the project was completed but deal still underway (very confidential) and a value creation project do interviewers press on the confidential and value creation project?

That's fine and probably works out better for you. Think about goal of interview - it is to see how you think as an investor, not to grill you on rote memorization. Because of your exposure as a consultant, you should be better armed on the strategic thesis of a deal and then can make up numbers for the valuation and transaction itself (obviously that ties and is logical to the strategic aspect). The best consultant candidates are the ones that see beyond their workstream and project scope and into the deal itself. Remember once you join, you're not a consultant or banker - you're just an investor.

And yes, you should be prepped to talk about anything you put on your resume in detail. You don't need to give names or MNPI, again, think about what the interviewer is looking for
