MF PE 48 Hour Case Study

I am going to need to do a case study for next round interview in non-traditional process over 48 hours. They will provide a full CIM from a company they have looked at, some customer data excel files (the company will be in the healthcare SAAS industry), and the sellside financial model. I will then create an LBO and a powerpoint.

As far as creating the model, should I make it from scratch or layer the model on top of the existing sell-side model?

Is it worth layering in things like add-on acquisitions even if not requested given the time allotted?

How would you organize the 48 hours? Given the fact that they would provide customer data, I imagine they are looking for detailed revenue builds which would mean that it'd be a more complex model than shorter time frame case studies.
