MF PE Senior Partner Comp vs MM HF PM Comp
Lets say both of these people did a 2 year analyst stint, and go into their respective sectors. They crush it, (95th percentile) and make their positions at 35.
Assuming they have been keeping expenses under 150k since they left IB, lived frugal during their analyst days, and are now living (slightly upper) middle-middle class, investing nearly everything else at a conservative ~7.5% return rate, what would you guess the lifetime comp and net worth is at retirement, assuming they retire at, ~50-55?
Dude, who cares? The answer is Enough.
Shoot for the moon, if you miss, your still in the stars.
So the moon you are shooting for is to grind up the ladder to become a MFPE partner or MMHF PM as opposed to become the next Steve Schwartzman or Ken Griffin, and you name yourself tooambitious?
Ideally I would start a family fund after getting a sizable net worth.
Kinda a weird question but if you're talking a top 5% PM at Citadel consistently over a 20+ year career thats invested wisely as you've said then these guys are worth literally $500m-$1bn
Thank you for an actual response. This forum is very useful but most of the time it ends up just shitting on people who have ambition.
it aint gonna happen bud. Get in line
also if you end up in either of these positions do you think that saving your 150k analyt salary is going to make a difference jajajaja
