MF/UMMs fwd thinking wrt AI

Beyond just marketing to raise LP $, curious to see if other monkeys could point to some of the heavy hitting PE funds that are forward thinking about use cases for AI integration...any examples would be great (backend integrations, system of record, etc)

GA, Warburg come to mind...would appreciate any and all perspectives

Hg and Vista have a lot of stuff out there publically on this. Have heard similar things for a lot of other tech firms from friends there, but think those two are the most public about it. Hg: AI value creation playbook and best practices + AI incubator of sorts for portcos with a bunch of engineers focused on AI value-creation. Vista is making every single software portco roll out AI features that can be cross-sold.

Thanks this is helpful. Is the play-book here short J-curve SG&A—>R&D investments or more opex neutral via labor reduction?

Also wonder if for vista they are trying to drive AI up sell in separate SKUs to increase NRR or do they view it as more of a defensive play to protect ARR / reduce churn?

Appreciate it!
