MM infra NYC
Current 2nd year analyst at a mid tier infra M&A team in NYC and looking to get into the infra PE space (ignore username). Conscious recruiting for the MFs for 2026 has passed and I am focusing more on the MM play. Does anyone have insights in how the traditional PE funds are doing in the space (e.g. Apollo, Carlyle, Ares)? How do these funds stack up against the MFs and traditional MM players (Igneo, iCON, DIF etc) from a performance, comp, career progression and WLB perspective? Any insights would be super helpful. Thanks!
