MM/UMM 2027 Associate Class Comp
Would love to get a sense of benchmarking 2027 associate total first-year comps with fund size, strategy, comp split, and city. Can get started:
3-4bn fund / buyout / 300k, half in base and bonus, and NYC

AS2 @ $10B+ fund // Buyout // ~$310k // 50-50 // LA
what was ASO1? 280?
~$25 bn // buyout // NYC // AS1 $320 floor
Thought all MFs were 350k+ now. They are paying UMM comp for MF fund size, but I guess nobody is turning down a MF offer.
Supposedly much better hours… if true very worth it IMO
BX setting the floor with $340K. Shameful
If non-BX, probably assuming it's EQT or Advent? Might make sense for EQT for european funds to pay lower but didnt expect advent to be that low.
What is base / bonus split?
My comp for 10b+ euro fund was 370 base and bonus
