Moving from Big 4 Advisory to MM PE

Hello everyone!

First of all, some background. I graduated form a very small non-target school about a year ago, and just recently I joined the financial advisory group (MM M&A) at one of the big 4 in my home country (Latin America). So far, the experience has been terrific and I know there is a lot to be learned. However, my goal is to move back to the US, particularly to the city where I went to college (Pittsburgh). My two main reasons are that I found some interesting MM PE funds that I would like to work at, and also, because I simply fell in love with the city.

So, with that being said, I wanted to ask the community here, what are my chances and what should I be doing to set myself in the right direction to accomplish such goal?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Also, if any newcomers have any questions regarding big 4 advisory, feel more than welcome to shoot away! I will try my best to answer your doubts.

Cheers guys.
