Analysts who transferred from a DCM/ECM/Lev fin type group to one that models for the purposes of recruiting for PE, how did the process go for you? When did you start speaking with headhunters - immediately, or after you had a few deals under your belt in the new group? Did PE firms care that only 2 of your 3 analyst years were modeling heavy, etc?
