NTM revenue multiples: question

i am a bit confused here. for example, right now, would an NTM revenue multiple right now be the same as a 2021 revenue multiple? or would the NTM revenue (since we are in February) look at revenue through February 2022?

or... is NTM revenue the next twelve months as of the last quarterly results (which is when you would have LTM revenue as of?) so if the latest LTM revenue is as of September 30, 2020, the NTM revenue multiple right now would look at NTM revenue from sep 30, 2020 to sep 30, 2021

really appreciate it.

NTM would be the next twelve months, from the most recent quarter.

This ^^.

Thanks a ton. Much appreciated. Right now, when people say LTM revenue, wouldn't that refer to 2020A? But from what I am seeing is that it would NOT be 2020A, it would be the LTM # as of whatever the most recent quarter is. Any clarity here?
