On-Cycle Deal Walkthrough Advice

Hi all,

Given how early on-cycle is (before we ht the desk) and the lack of deal flow in 2023, I was wondering if anyone who participated in last year's on-cycle has any insights on how much we are grilled on our deal experience? Frankly, I did not have any deal experience over the summer and was only able to work closely on some early-stage pitches. I reflected this on my resume given that if I didn't truly work on any live deals it would be easily sniffed out.

I'd really appreciate any advice on how to approach this problem and whether anyone who didn't have much experience during their summer analyst period landed any solid MF/UMM offers. I currently attend a target school and will be working in a top BB in a top group if that can maybe balance out the lack of deal experience. Thanks!
