Orion Group
I have a PE SA interview with Orion Services Group (Alpine spin-out). Does anyone have any insight into their recruitment process and the firm in general?

I have an upcoming one, was hoping to know what their first round was like
Did you ever have it, how was ? Mine is in a couple of hours.
It was chill, just business intuitition, why Orion, accounting. Ended up doing something else. Hope it goes well, lmk what they ask
What did the process of the interview end up looking like?
they are not a private equity firm. you would be doing corp dev on behalf of alpine.
It’s a roll-up of initially commercial HVACR businesses that has since expanded to some other facility services verticals. You will be doing corp dev work for lot of small ($1-5m EBITDA) acquistions.
Have a case study interview here soon - they blocked out 45 min and said there's "not anything I can do to prepare." Does anyone have any insight into what their case studies look like? Is it gonna be a paper LBO like it would be for other PE case study interviews?
Likely going to be some financials and they’ll ask you to drawn conclusions and takeaways.
Like if a prospective investment would be a good fit for their portfolio?
Did you have the interview? In the same boat and not sure how to prepare for the case study.
Did you have your first round yet? I have a one on one today.
It's a market sizing case study question which imo is a strange choice for a "PE" firm. So practice that - not a paper LBO like me...
