Growing fund sizes really well, so clearly something is going right in the eyes of LP's.  Long hours and very WASP-y culture (lax, greek life, skiing, golf, protestant work ethic, etc.) and people, but people seemed sharp.

Do you know what their all in comp is for 1st year associate?

Not sure; am not there. I did interview for them back in the day for analyst programs; but ended up going to a top BB. I wouldn't worry about associate comp too much; the extra 10k-20k difference between funds isn't going to make a sizeable difference if you can do well in this career path. Focus on figuring out what you want to do and what the best way to get there is.

How does culture differ across Boston, Austin, and SF? and how does it compare to baypine?
