Path to Partner
Curious to get hear thoughts on what type of firm is best for long term career growth/earnings. In a tier 3/4 city do you think it is best to pursue a PE firm that is larger in aum with more competition or a firm with smaller aum that has a more direct path to partner? Larger aum surely pays more but does that really matter if you won’t be promoted?
