PE Associate Exit to AI Startups?

Burned out Associate (Asian country) here! 2+2 experience in IB+PE, MBA from premier B-School, been a top performer across roles. Way too much pressure at work doing a lot of meaningless work and deals that make no sense - getting no weekends off, gained too much weight and lost out on social life and hobbies yada yada yada. Uninspiring senior team members and genuinely worried if I sustain a lifestyle as theirs...

Don't have a technical background but very confident in my abilities to learn and perform in any industry. Should I leave my job and focus on getting into strategy or founder's office roles in fast-growing AI companies? Should I consider a huge pay cut and try to get into a field like AI which may be more and more relevant going forward, or should I stick out for a few more years in my job which is at a very prestigious firm but underwhelming on the learning front? Not interested in the standard exit paths to other PEs or corp dev or going back to IB :/

I am 27 years old and unsure how to navigate my career. More fundamentally, should I chase growth and get myself into AI or SaaS (will this give me some WLB, at least need 1 day off in the weekend), or if it is high grind everywhere should I continue in my current role (and be okay with some brain-dead work), or should I just focus on my health alone and walk away from everything and settle for a corporate job to make it sustainable?

Very confused and unmotivated even after achieving top roles in my small career till date. Appreciate any help and guidance from this community!
