Looking to get a bit more information on opportunities/process for making the move across the pond for a lateral PE position. I’m currently a second yr associate at MM shop in NYC (industrials-focused), came from a European BB in NYC (M&A group).
Would love to get some information on 1) headhunters people have had success working with in the UK, 2) any shops known to sponsor Americans for UK visas and 3) any general information on the process (timing, comp, etc.).

Can I ask why the move? While I love the fact that we get 5 weeks of holidays and it’s fun to travel around Europe, the US is a much superior place for personal capital accumulation. That’s not the end all be all but NYC is a great place as well, so always puzzled by those moves.
