Has anyone at the ASO level in PE seen base salary increases in light of almost every single IB bumping their ASOs? Most leading IBs are paying their ASOs $175-200K base depending on year, which is considerable north of the $125K base that most PE funds dole out. All-in seems like there’s an appreciable difference between PE and IB comp (again, at the ASO level specifically) and I’m surprised PE funds haven’t moved to close that gap.
